We are extremely proud to announce the newest member of the LouCouPsych family, Ashley Eason, LCSW, who will be providing exclusively teletherapy for clients located in the state of Maryland, with plans of being able to serve clients in Virginia in the future. "I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. I holds a Master’s of Public Health focusing on health behaviors and outcomes from the University of Kentucky. After working in the field for several years, I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I have over 4 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health and inpatient psychiatric care; I have been most recently working with children and adolescents in downtown Baltimore. I have worked with children, adolescents, families and adults. I have also been trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), the gold standard of treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in children and adolescents, and utilize other evidence-based tools.
I support my clients by assisting them during the most challenging aspects in their lives. My main efforts go into helping clients find empowerment and increased self-awareness. I work especially hard to ensure my clients feel comfortable and safe and provide tools and skills necessary to thrive moving forward."
We are extremely lucky and overjoyed to welcome Ashley to the team; Dr. Mirza has worked with her previously and knows firsthand that she fits the vision and mission of what LouCouPsych is built upon, as well as being able to vouch for her superior clinical skills.
