Erin Hallahan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. Erin graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and while there was involved in organizations promoting mental health awareness and mentorship. Erin went on to earn her Master's degree in Social Work from George Mason University. Erin has over six years of experience in different inpatient and outpatient mental health settings including inpatient hospitals, emergency departments, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Erin has experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
Erin believes that the most important role she plays as a therapist is one of empowerment and collaboration. Erin seeks to work with you to help develop understanding and tools to navigate through life's challenges and stressors. Erin knows that not one size fits all so she utilizes an integrative, strengths based approach to therapy that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness.
