He also has his own private practice, LouCouPsych, where he sees adult outpatients with a focus on ADHD, Autism, and substance use issues, as well as being Loudoun County's first certified provider of Spravato, the FDA-approved intranasal esketamine product for treatment resistant major depressive disorder. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mirza has a growing social media presence as TheKicksShrinks, with following of over 90,000 across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube channel with an accompanying audio only podcast, where he creates edutainment videos and content with the goal of breaking down mental health stigma, combatting mental health misinformation, rehabilitating the often negative image of psychiatry and psychiatrists, interviewing leaders in the field, all while hoping to make his viewers laugh and learn something about mental health, but also his love for sneakers in a down to earth manner.
Dr. Mirza has been featured in and interviewed for TIME Magazine, The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, BuzzFeed News, The Washington Post, Bloomberg newspaper, Insider, Medical News Today, and has appeared as an expert guest on NBC, as well as Washington DC's WTOP radio.
