Meet Jo-Ann Schaaf, a Resident in Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia, who is passionate about helping people of all ages navigate life's challenges. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Maryland University College, her Masters Degree from National Louis University, and her Masters Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. With experience in school guidance and counseling, job training programs, intensive in-home counseling, and outpatient counseling, Jo-Ann is a versatile therapist who can meet your unique needs.

Jo-Ann is dedicated to providing a flexible and holistic approach to therapy and uses a variety of integrative approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to support her clients. Her goal is to help her clients fully embrace their experiences and empower them to take an active role in changing their perceptions, emotions, and behaviors.
